Mixed Berry Croissant Bake

  • 1 Baking Tray

Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium croissants
  • 150 ml single cream
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinammon
  • 2 tsp orange zest
  • handful of mixed berries (raspberries and blackberries)

Instructions
 

  • Start off by slicing the croissants into thin slices and layer them in a baking a tray 
  • Then, in a separate bowl, mix all the other ingredients together
  • Once this is done, pour your mixture over the croissants and put in the oven for about 15 minutes on 200C
  • Whilst croissants are in the oven, wash and dry your berries 
  • After 15 minutes or when croissant bake is almost done, place the berries on top and put it back in the oven until golden brown 
  • Once out of the oven, dust with cinnamon and powdered sugar as desired and serve warm
  • Enjoy!

Notes

 
  • This can also be served with maple syrup or ice cream if having it as a dessert 
  • You can use any type of berries for this recipe not just raspberries and blackberries 
  • When putting dish back in the oven with fruits, you can bake this for a further 10 minutes or until golden brown
